DANIEL CRUZ is a teacher, mentor, dancer and choreographer. He has taught HipHop from Seattle, LA, and Europe and has mentored industry dancers such as Ivan Koumaev, Chanel Malvar, BJ Das, Bryan Tanaka, Ryan and Christina Chandler. Daniel has choreographed for the 8-time WIAA State 4A HipHop Champion, Todd Beamer High School, for 9 years and ABDC’s 8 Flavahz. Other choreography credits include Rent (5th Avenue Theater), Big River, Jesus Christ Superstar (Village Theater, Seattle BWW Award), Microsoft, Nordstrom, Seahawks halftime shows, the Sonics Dance Team, TMobile, Bungie and Valve. As a dancer, Daniel has performed in the U.S. and abroad on stage, television, music videos, and commercials. Mr. Cruz has been in over 15 musicals at the 5th Avenue Theater, on the 1st National Tours of Fame: The Musical, and the Tony Award-winning show, In The Heights. He has performed on MTV VMA’s, BET Music Awards, Much Music Awards, and on SYTYCD as a guest performer. Daniel has danced with artists such as Michael Jackson, NSync, Prince, Ashanti and the Jabbawockeez for choreographers such as Wade Robson, Marguerite Derricks, Tabitha and Napoleon.
