Krista began dancing at age 6. Her passion grew as she continued training in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical/contemporary, modern, and hip hop. Dance allowed Krista to bring her creativity to life through choreography, music selection, and costume design. By her senior year in high school, Krista had a scholarship offer to the Art Institute of Seattle in fashion design, along with a job offer to travel the world as a professional dancer on board the cruise ships of Holland America Line. Krista choose a career in dance which allowed her the travel to several continents. Krista’s passion for dance lead her to exploring the mind and body benefits of yoga, which led her to completing yoga teacher training certification. Krista hopes to inspire, share and educate all her students. “I believe the practice of yoga can seem overwhelming to some, so I strive to make each class enjoyable and achievable to all students of all levels”. Students leave Krista’s class feeling relaxed and rejuvenated from her playful sequencing and powerful flow.
